Gigabyte GA-945GM-S2 motherboard and DDR3 Memory... Will it work?

Hi

I currently have a Gigabyte GA-945GM-S2 motherboard and want to upgrade my memory (RAM). I was wondering if my motherboard could take DDR3 ram. Any answers would be great.

No, unfortunately your board doesn't support DDR3 memory.

oh right then thanks for ur help. What is the best RAM/memory i can get for my computer (for gaming mostly) that's ddr2? is my motherboard compatible with any ddr2 ram?

yes it should be compatible with all ddr2 667mhz ram, but no higher. (at least i dont think the 945's supported ddr2 800mhz)
