Red face Coding help? or where can i get it? PHP/Mysql Register to Login?

I'm looking for a WORKING guide on how to set up a register then login system on my website. I've tried several tutorials to no avail, does anyone have one they've used personally? Or can someone do it for me? I shall give the account information to log in and work on it. Thank you in advance! I can be contacted through here, MSN, AIM, Skype, or yahoo. lol anything basically. Please respond quickly
