Default DVD burner sluggish? use a vacuum

DVD was making errors and laser lens cleaner disk didn't help.On a hunch I used a small portable automobile vacuum cleaner to evacuate the dust particles and that fixed it right up. Was this a fluke? like to hear results from others.

Not a fluke. It actually works but you risk a static discharge from the vacuum.
I use a vacuum with the brush attachment to clean the mesh grill on the front of my Silverstone TJ-06. The inside is cleaned with compressed air including my DVD-RW drives.
