Question Wireless Internet Question

Hi all,

Just need to check.

My girlfriend's mum bought a Belkin wireless router (i think ) with a USB reciever so that they could share the internet with their grandparents like 2 meters away from their house.

No it won't work due to low signal.

So i "might" being to a new computer build for her grandparents because their computer is a bit out dated (grandparents computer) over the school holidays i did a build for my girlfriend.

Now if they got a D link wireless link would it work with the belkin wireless router???

I hope this makes sence

The only issue that will come up is the distance between the router and the receiver, not having enough signal can slow the thing pretty badly.

yes i know...

What i'm going to do is have the links close the window so that they have a line of sight signal.
