Default Will this RAM work witht this MOBO?

would this ram work with this motherboard?

RAM:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...R2%2b800%2bRAM
MOBO:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...%2bGA-P35-DS3L

I'm just concerened cause the mobo says ddr2 1066 and the ram is ddr800.

Another question, what is the difference between ddr2 and ddr3 and would a ddr3 video card like a 8600gt work with this mobo?

Your confused

It's OK though.

First, yea, that ram will work with that Mobo. Its just that 1066 is the max that the mobo can handle( idk if that;s the reason).

2nd, DDr3 ram is not worth it right now. And, a dd3 videocard will work with ur mobo, because of the connector it uses. For ex, the 8600gt is a PCIex slot card. As long as the mobo has a pciex slot open, everything would be ok.

...just wanted to add that the motherboard doesn't have to support any specific type of video card RAM. As long as your mobo's got the slot for the card, you'll be good.
