Default am i slowly killing my ram

ok i would like to know if i am slowly killing my ram by tightening my timings from (5-5-5-18) to (4-4-4-12) still at stock voltages 1.8V i do NOT have heat spreaders on my ram.

(2) GA-81945P-G-RH - Pentium D 945 (3.4GHz) had it @4.42 GHz - SATA 3.0G 1x250G 2x500G - ASUS 3850 - 3G DDR 533 - Topower 750W - 50''(127CM) 1080P 1920x1080 plasma - 3DMARK06 7250.
(3) AMD 2400 - ECS K7S5A - IDE 320G - RADION 512MB 1650 pro - 1256MB DDR 266 - ATLAS 450W.

Voltage kills not timming.

ok so voltages kill the ram but at tighter timings would there be more heat? if so would it be hot.
i am thinking of trying to go to 3 should i.

you wont be able too. you are lucky that they work at 4-4-4-12, those are pretty good timings. to get a cas latency of 3 like mine is pretty rare for ddr 800
