Basically i got some games that i want to play on my laptop, look at the specks below... the game im looking at is the FEAR series. I was able to play it fine for about the first half of the first fear game w/o expantions, but now im starting to have some problems...im getting allot more lagg and its just harder to play. This seems to happen every time i go through the game, it is fine for a while, then starts to deteriorate. I was wondering if this was a ram problem. It would make sense because if i do an auto detect it puts ram and cpu at minimum and when running, my ram is at 97%. And in the windows experience index, my ram is the lowest along with the hdd at a 4.8. so im considering a ram upgrade and here is what im looking at http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231135
I was also looking at some ram that was ddr2 800 instead of the one above which is a ddr2 667, but there wernt as many good reports with hp brand laptops. would the jump from 667 to 800 really improve the porformance that much? please give me any suggestions or comments you have.. thanks I know that a 32 bit system wont see 4 gigs of ram, but i dont want to mix ram Hp dv9500t 2gigs Ram 2-160GB HDD nvidia 8600m gs core 2 duo t7700 2.4 ghtz Vista Home Prem 32 bit Last edited by chriskmee; 05-11-2008 at 06:53 PM. |
