Default AC Power through battery?

I have an HP ze1210. My AC powerjack broke off. I am looking to not have to solder it back on. Is it possible to somehow wire the power directly into the battery or where the battery connects to the computer? If so, does anyone have any idea how I would go about doing this? Thank you for your time and help in this matter.

It would be much simpler just solder the jack back on or buy a new jack and solder it on.

Do you have any electronics or soldering experience?

I was of the thinking that it would be cheaper to wire it, instead of soldering a new one back on.

I'm not sure, soldering it back on is almost guaranteed to work, I'm not even sure how you go about wiring it and it wouldn't be that safe.

to buy a new jack isnt expensive like 5-10 bucks, and the soldering isnt to bad either since ur just soldering to 2 wires the ground and power
