Hey guys,

im looking for some music software that will allow me to edit and like make music so for example if i download a song (instrimental) i can add lyrics to it from another song.

basicly any software to do with music making etc.

If you want to mix, I use Virtual DJ.

If you use Linux there's loads... Ardour, Audacity (also for Windows and Mac), LMMS (Just like FLStudio), Mixxx (Looks good, but I haven't tried it... yet), Jokosher (VERY basic functionality, but easy to use), and much much more...

What about if you wanna record and make your own music. Like hook up an electric guitar to the PC then record and add effects, distortion, etc..?

You could use a Mixtable, like when you DJ. There are some you can hook to the computer that have Aux in.
