From what I understand, it's going to be a dualcore graphics card. Just the two GPU's in one idea like two cores only then different...
Now lets hope it uses the 1Gb of memory even though it has 512bit interface.

My main gripe about the 9800gx2 is that it's false advertising that it's 512 bit memory. It isn't, it's 256 x2 which might as well be an 8800gts. This is why I liked the 8800gtx so much. The memory bandwidth was amazing at 384 bit. I really hope this new card is a true 512 bit.
