Default Buying OEM products

Exactly what does this mean when your buying OEM are they any harder to install? IE cd drive, hard drives. Just dont want to get myself into a bind when I get the stuff.

OEM means original equipment manafacturer. Basicaly, its everything the RETAIL version is except all the fancy stuff. For example, if u were going to get a hdd OEM, it would just be the hard drive. no screws, no cables. If u were to get Windows XP oem, it means no fancy box, packaging and stuff. Go with OEM. So much cheaper if u already have the stuff laying around.
