When I go on google switzerland, where you can select between multiple languages, I try to change it from the default german to english, but then it says my cookies are not activated. However, they are, and sometimes, during a couple of minutes, I can actually change the language without getting the cookies error.
Why is this?

i have the problem too. it has not become an issue but takes places when visiting other forums. im using firefox and the forum says your cookies are disabled. there not. i tried uninstalling spybot but the same thing happened. its one of those things that slipped through the cracks but the error is still there when visiting some forums.
just curious if ya know. |

Well for me it's important to fix the problem since I can't change google's language meaning it displays search results in german only.
I doubt it's a google error.

i have never had the problem.
Try this - Delete of the cookies, all of the temporary files etc... if that doesn't work reinstall Firefox.
