Hey everyone I just recently built a low end rig and I just now ordered the video card but am affraid my PSU wont provide sufficient power to the card.
At visionteks website its minimum requirement is a 450w PSU an mine is only 430w thermaltake on a single rail my question is would it hold up without straining the PSU and components? Thanks in advance Rig Specs Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 Allendale Gigabyte Mobo Wintec Memory 2gigz Samsung Hard Drive 250gb Lite-On DVD Burner PSU Specs Model Brand Thermaltake Model W0070RUC Series TR2 Spec Type ATX Maximum Power 430W Fans 2 PFC No Main Connector 20+4Pin +12V Rails Single PCI-E Connectors 1 x 6Pin NVIDIA SLI Support No Modular Cabling Support No Hold-up Time 16ms min. According to this: Power Recommendations by Video Card
You need more than that PSU can offer unfortunately, although a good one can cost less than $50!
