Talking The $4.03 paint job

I didn't really mod it too much I just painted from the standard white

Side panel sanded down to the metal

The other panel and top sand to the metal

Sorry I didn't get pics to the paint job in progress

Side panel painted

Side and top panel

Close up of the vent

The front painted(I left the 3.5" and the 5" bays along with the power and reset buttons unpainted because I'm thinking of painting them Fire Red)

Close up of the shiney front

All the panels and front are primed, painted and clear coated with a "rattle" can paint. The paint job cost a whopping $4.03 (.97 primer, $1.94 of paint [2 cans] and $1.12 for clear coat). Ohh yeah I spend $5 for a wire drill brush. I spent more on the brush then the paint job

Here is a pic of the internals of the case

Looks nice

Why not paint that white stuff (I'm not sure what they are, there are no letters on it so either they're already stealthed Drives or they're stealthed but without the drives or something ) ?

ps, you have a Kodak C875 ?

Ya I thought the same, but you'd have problems with rust after awhile I'd think. You could rub a light coat of oil on it, but that would attract dust...

I told myself if the paint job didn't work out it would sanded back down to the metal and left like that
