It's probably been 8 years since I went shopping for a computer. I was really into computers back in the day and my uncle and I would construct computers and we'd geek out about the latest RAM upgrades and junk...although...I can't remember jack from those days and I'd love to buy a new Laptop.
I've got about $1,500 dollars to spend on a really good laptop but I'm not sure what is what anymore. I don't know what the latest fastest processors / RAM / Drive memory is the norm for this time of the year of 2008. I'd love to get a GREAT Home Laptop that is fast / lots of memory / minimal software bundled with it to add up the cost etc. I'd like a Laptop that is great for using high-taxing programs like Photoshop and Adobe Flash. I do play video games on my laptop every now-and-again and would like to ensure if I do buy some new Online RPG or First Person Shooter that I can play with good assurance that it won't be bad. I'm getting into the Youtube VLogging thing and need a lot of memory to store my AVI files to archive to give you a feel of what I'm looking into buying as I know it's a bit user specific. I don't want any bundled programs that may up the price as I have all my programs bought and ready to use. What is the above average computers specs now-a-days? Hopefully, I still remember some of the computer language as I'm really wavering in it! P.S. Where's the best place to shop for computers at? |
