can you take the Gateway® P-6832 and replace the original video card with the GeForce 8800 GT:confuse d:

Does your gateway have an available pci-e slot? Or does the current video card come out?

I actually don't have one, but I was thinking about buying one. Though i don't like the Intel GMA X3100 card, and the customer service will not tell me if i can switch.

As I said in your other thread:

Intel only makes onboard video. You'd need to find a laptop with DEDICATED graphics that will allow you to swap the video cards out. That way you can upgrade as needed.
