When selecting the exact same test server more then once the results changed each time. For actual testing you would need a closed network without seeing different volumes of traffic coming up with different results for a far more accurate reading of the actual speed. As for upload and download speeds those will vary depending on the type of connection, ISP, and again volume of traffic depending on location as well as the ISP's own servers for that region.

The variables make it impossible to point at just one set of rates. The faster the better is always the preferred. Hopefully you end up with the best ISP and plan for the new location.

Does anyone know how to increase these numbers without getting a new ISP?
Put it this way - yours is better than mine!

This is mine!

I just did mine then - my upload has been better.

Depends on $$$ and what the plans are.

I know its not completely accurate, but none the less my speed should be somewhere around that number. Hopefully I can get a better ISP.

To increase speed, transform into super saiyan phase 3 and then blast a Kamehameha the opposite direction from which you're facing and boom you'r up and flying

Nah but really, what you can do is uninstall any toolbars that you may have on your explorer. Those things can give you internet slowdowns. Also check out Google's Accelerator feature.

Most of the addon toolbars are nothing but adware magnets that leave your system far more vulnerable when IE as the primary browser. The only advantages some miight offer is a popup ad blocker and a choice of default search engine. But other then that they are usually more of a problem creator and can drag things down at times.
