Alienware m15x has a single 8800, but it is a 15" and starts at $1500. The alienware m17x is 17", can have 8600/8700/8800sli, and starts at around $2100. Try dell's and sager also.
Also, is sli doesn't offer more than 15 percent over a single gpu, dual 8600's won't be that good. I would really recommend a single 8800 or dual 8700's. |

I have a friend with two 8600's... They're Ok. He can max CoD4, but they aren't great! How much more expensive is the GTX? That'd be by far the better deal!

Yeah CoD4, maybe some other games. But I don't really know how long it'll last for... I mean, they aren't exactly great cards. I know it's a laptop 'n all. If the price wasn't an issue for you, the GTX is better. What about Alienware, how are their laptops?

Well, if money isn't a problem, Then I'd go for the GTX! When you think about it though, Two 8600's in a laptop is pretty damn good! So either way, I'm sure it'll be a good decision!
