I have been offered a q9300 OEM edition. correct me if Im wrong but a OEM edition is one that comes with a pre-made computer system is it not? My question is, will the OEM version cpu work in oter MB's that it did not originaly come in and would you recomend tat I buy it or look else were.

The only difference is no fancy box or heatsink and fan. And since its Intel they dont have a warranty, only through who you bought it from.
