What ISP? For $50 a month we get a 4mb line, 384kb up. Comcrap. They're our only high speed provider in the area, and they lurve umphing us up the butt. I for one hate it, but we're in a permanent bend-over lane so..

Cost of living is cheap here, which is why I have a hard time moving. My 1 bedroom 750 sq foot apartment is only $375/month rent....

Most of the homes in my area sell for 100k to 150k and would probably cost 500k or more in California.

I am telling you, kansas city really isn't that bad of a place to live. Though, I think I may want to get a traveling job or live some where else for a few years in a bit, it can seem like a small town every now and then depending on what neighborhood you live in.

I just checked and it's around $54 a month + taxes just as a promotion for the 10mb/s, and that's the highest they give in my area.. You getting 20mb/s for around $50 consider yourself lucky!!!..lol
