Default mother/ram board over clocjking

*edit* ops can some one please correct the clocking in the name please thanks*edit*

hi i just ordered a E8400 3.0 Ghz duel core cpu from dabs so should be at mine tomorrow

here is my mobo link for the information on it and to help u suggest what to do
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813135047

any way i have a ECS NF650ISLIt-a mother board

its default settings for the fsb are 800 but it advertises it can be over clocked to 1333

will i have to over clock it to 1333 before i fit the new cpu or after i fit it in?
ill over clock the ram and cpu speed to 1333
is this a good idea 9over clocking the ram speed that is and maybe the cpu speed)

i think i need faster ram with a 1333 cpu is that correct?
atm i have 800mhz 6400 ram

how much shorter would my mobo last for if i over clocked it.

thanks allot for the help

Default

sorry for making another post but any way

i just tried to over clock my cpu i have ATM (same mobo as the post above)
i have a E4500 ATM and i am trying to over clock it just a tiny bit (just for the experience)
i have stock cooling the moment
when i change the fsb default that is 800MHz for ram and cpu i changed it all the way to 1066Mhz
but when i rebooted it still said my cpu speed is 2.2 Ghz

i also went to the multiplier that goes up to 131 i increased that as well 9after i tried increasing the 8800mhz) that didn't change it from 2.2 Ghz either

am i doing something wrong?

these are the images i get on my bios

i have tried Google and the over clocking tip topic on this forum and it never really helped me understand what to do
