if there are a few pins bent, is it a work/wont work thing or will it possibly slow it down? if its a will or wont work deal i'd take my chances (i really dont feel like taking this thing apart and shipping the moboard back and waiting for another one :X but if it has a chance of working, but only slowing it down, i'd prefer to go ahead and swap it

yikes. you could bend them back with some sort of precision tool, something like a dental pick MIGHT work. if they are not EXACTLY back into place and you try it, it could very well fry your motherboard/processor. its not a slow down thing, its a pop sizzle flame thing.
but i would just send it back. you dont want to risk blowing up your processor.
