Question 9600GT good ?

anyone with the 9600GT have good experience with the card, what are ur thoughts on it ? i dont think ill need the power of 9800GTX in my system, so i switch my mind, but is it a good card ?

Yes the 9600GT is a great card, it's actually on par with the ATI 3870.

It is a very good card from everywhere I have looked. The card was made for intermediate gamers looking for a decent card.

It's okay, but there are probably better choices. For a bit more you could get the 8800GS (almost equal), or for a bit more you could get the 8800GT which is quite a bit better.

well what do u suggest for under $250 and that is compatible for PCIe 1.0 and has to be nVidia. can u do me a little shoppin, me mom asks what i want for senior grad present but not to expensive

You could ofcourse get two 9600GT's that are used? They give a great SLI boost from what I saw. Though you'd have to get an SLI-mobo first...

No, if you really want to go crazy, go 2x 9800 GX2. Quad-SLi.



But I have an eVGA 9600 GT and it's freaking awesome.
