Question A couple of questions

I have a couple of questions:

1. Is Pro or XT better (for ATi cards). (Example is HD2900 Pro better, or XT?)
2. Can an HD 2600XT play Crysis on medium at 1440x900?

I am not sure about your question regarding pro and XT.

However, if you plan to play Crysis on those resolutions, I would shoot for a more powerful card. I am also going to suggest nVidia over ATI (in my experience, ATI is for gamers on a budget).

XT is the higher end of ATI cards. Pro is inferior. theres also XTX but only sees in the x1950xtx/x1900xtx. XTX is above all unless dont have XTX.

XT is better than Pro.

2600xt is not that great as it seems. in fact it is slower than the x850xt speed-wise in shader 2.0

i choose 8600gts over 2600xt

Well... what about the 2900 Pro? The only XT I found was about $500... whoo... And yeah I am kind of on a budget... but that's because I'm 13 and have no job. The only problem is I live in Canada, and we get whailed on prices even though our dollar is worth more than the USD..

Don't look at the 2900's, they're old, overpriced and uses A LOT of power. Instead look into the newer HD 3XXX series and the 8/9 series from Nvidia.
