Hi, just simple question:
Is it possible to oc a value ram? I have mushkin value ram pc 5300 and because of it i cant oc my cpu any further than 2.333 ghz. If i just buy a heat spreader (i think its the cheapest solution instead buying a new 2gb kit pc 6400 just for oc'ing my cpu further) will it be possible to oc it?

odds are it was a very low quality batch that was made, so no it cannot be overclocked much at all. unfortunately your best bet is to go ahead and get some ddr800 ram. the good news is that that stuff is outrageously cheap.

Yeah, i heard that the pc 6400 price drop but 667 to 800 is only a small upgrade, and i only use it to oc my cpu more.
Is there anyway around? An add on heat spreader wont help isn't?
