Default what's going on with my video players?

It started recently I get inverted colors when I play a video file on a video player like WMP, MPC, DIVX, Quicktime....but it works fine on VLC.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the players but no luck. Would it be something not related to the players, but for something that codes them?

The files types I've tried on those players are .avi, .mkv, .wmv, and mpg4. As I mentioned, they all work on VLC but not on the other players.

Can someone help me out on this?

an example is 174mb size 704x400. It's not that the image is too large or too small to be distorded. It just seems like if I were running another video program in the background. Like what happens when I play a file on VLC I try to go to say youtube....there's a double image there....like my computer doesn't like to play 2 videos at once.

Ah BTW they're anime episodes. They can be coded on those formarts, I used VLC exclusivebly before but with MPC I found it to be better for .mkv files.
