Question I am confused and need help in choosing a laptop :(

hello folks


I am confused and need help in choosing a laptop



I will be using it for simulation in Matlab...and am hesitating whether to go for vista or Xp...this is the main issue for me



help me plz which one to choose

1. - Budget
2. - Main Use
3. - I would go for XP but most laptops now come with vista so you might be getting vista

Once i know a few things i can continue on

Edit - Those laptops were not very good for that price either!

but look at the bit-s
x32 or x64
a prefeer x32
you'll have less problems

First link not work.

I think it will be better to get Vista as XP machine is quite difficult to find

yea 1st link dead, and with 1 gb of ram u gotta go xp, vista will just be really really slow.

try the lenovo notebook and also now you can choose what os you want.. if your notebook for schooling or bus.. go for vista.. and if you want to install some games to your notebook go for xp2.. im using lenovo 3000n100 so far its good.. os sp2/vista dual core 1.6ghz, 120gb hdd 5400rpm, 128mb video card... i like lenovo because of its classic set up and cheaper than other notbooks.. ibm is a lenovo today... try to visit lenovo.com my laptop is under maintenance because of dual boot but lenovo is good..
