Talking bsod :(

so i keep getting driver_irql_not_less_or_equal all the time.

well maybe once every half an hour. sometimes sooner.

it happens sometimes when im gaming. and sometimes just on the desktop.

i recently isntalled a second network card so i was thinking that was the cause. seeing as it is the only thing i have changed recently.

but its still happening.

someone said it could be my ram.

i ran memtest for 90 minutes. (3 passes). nothing. no errors.

what else can i try?

when i get some time ill run memtest overnight.

anything i should be looking at?

thankyou

no idea how though. does vista even have a recovery console?

dont you get that error when your cpu or ram comes up with incorrect values?

or maybe that was something else...

either way, i would try running orthos for a few hours.
