Back in November, our hard drive was corrupted and my brother was able to put in a new one in addition to the old one. The new drive is the main drive and the other drive is still there. I still have some programs on my old drive which I don't know how to go about getting to work on my new hard drive. The new drive has a partition for programs (C) and a data section (D). The old drive is (G).
Can someone tell me how I can get the programs transferred and working on the new drive? I have misplaced some of the disks and instead of looking for them for hours, I'd like to be able to just transfer them. Do I just move the .exe files or is there a way to reinstall? Thanks for any helpful info. |

you can't do that - you have to reinstall the programs into the OS on the new hard drive
