So,
My friend is commissioning me to build him a computer. He'd like a Blu-Ray drive and the ability to watch HDCP content on an HDTV through HDMI. My friend does not play games or use any 3D intensive programs. So what do I do for a video out? Would it be better to use an HTPC motherboard with an HDMI out, do these have HDCP protection? Or are there video cards that aren't geared toward gamers that still provide HDCP? |

I'm guessing that onboard HDMI complies with HDCP protocol.
