You can check if your on the internet or not by loading your website browser and typing in a URL, if it loads then you know that you are connected to the internet - is that what you ment?

You can also check your internet download and upload speed at www.speedtest.net, just select your location first.

I know that if browser opens a site then it is running , but problem withe me is that my net speed is around 64kbps so some time it take 1 minute to open a site , as it take long time to open i don't understand whether net is not running or net speed is to slow.
