Default Looking for a good all around ROM

Hey guys,
I'm looking for a new SATA ROM that can be used as a CD/DVD Burner and as my main CD-Rom as well. I only want 1 CD-Tray because I don't have a need for two =/.

This one any good?

Looks good to me, although the Samsung is $5 cheaper (plus free shipping ) and appears to be a little faster.

That's pretty vague. An explanation would be rather useful! Thanks.

CD/DVD drives and burners are that one category where everyone swears by one particular brand and everything else is pure crap.

Get whichever one you want. I've seen reviews of both models, and they both had great reviews. Not exactly surprising since DVD burners are no longer new consumer technology.

Aye, I would agree. I've used LiteOn and Samsung and they have worked for me for over 5 years now.
