Default Connecting Computer to HDTV in Other Room

I am not sure if this post belongs here, so I also post it in the Video Card room.

I am moving into a new apartment, and I am wiring everything, and need some advice.

I will have me desktop in my office. I will also have HDTV's in my bedroom and my living room. I want to be able to watch blue-ray in both places. My new desktop will have a blue-ray player, and I don't feel like buying blue ray players for both my living room and my bedroom.

So, I plan on running HDMI cables from my bedroom and living room to my office (only about 15 feet away) and connecting the HDTV's to my Desktop. That way I can just play the blue-ray player from the office and watch it in either (1) the office, (2) my bedroom, or (3) the livingroom. 1 blue-ray player for all. Cheap, but not convenient.

I have to run to the office to pause, rewing, etc. My question is whether there is anyway I can control my computer from my living room or bedroom so I can pause and rewing without going to the office.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

We'll as far as controlling your CPU via TV I am unsure on how that would work. HOWEVER!! Microsoft offers an add-on (I think its considered an add-on) called a Windows Media "Extender" now they offer products that specialize in routing HD through your PC to your TV. Now if you have a Xbox 360 this is a qualified as an "extender" and can be used to view HD programming via computer. Also I believe that you can pause, rewind, ect from your TV (Using recommended hardware). Just google Microsoft extender and you can read about it on there website.

hope this helps
