I'm not worried about them or anything, I know they are pretty normal temperatures, it's just all the reports of lower temperatures with even stock cooling has got me wondering why mine isn't nearly as low.
I'm using an Arctic Freezer Pro 7 CPU Heatsink/Fan and Akasa 455 Thermal Paste I have an Intel Core 2 Duo E4400, not overclocked. It's not a hot night or anything, and i'm getting 42-44*C idle and maxes at 52-54*C under load. I know these aren't temperatures to worry about, but they aren't too good considering i'm using after market equipment. I was just wondering if anyone knew any information, maybe the E4 series just naturally run quite a bit hotter than a lot of other processors? I don't know, but any insight would be helpful ![]() Thanks.
