Default networkinhg help please

I have my computer in my room, and my PS2 is right next to it. I want to to be able to use them both online. I only have one 5 foot ethernet cable, and the 70' cable that plugs into my computer. My computer has 2 NIC's and I was wondering if it would be possible to like, have my computer be connected to the internet, then plug my PS2 into the other ethernet plug, so my computer would act like a hub.
Would this work?

Yes, You need to enable internet connection sharing on the main NIC card, then reboot your computer. But you must have a eathernet direct connect cable between your computer and the ps2 or it will not work.

Yes you would need a cross over ethernet cable.
