I am getting the Asus Maximus Extreme x38 motherboard. It comes with the SupremeFX II sound card.
Does anyone know if it is a good soundcard? I don't do that much games. Mainly blue-ray, dvd, etc. Will this be enough for my needs? Will it decode the HD codecs? Thanks |

It 's a decent for onboard sound, I have a friend who uses the same board and has a set of Logitech Z5500 speakers which sounds real nice. I perfer a dedicated sound card myself.
