Power to the black man...

McCain's an old fart and Hillary's going to get discriminated like crazy. I suppose Obama could get discriminated as well but not as much as a women I would think.

Because even though Bill Clinton was sort of immoral and all that jazz, he did bring America one of the most prosperous economic periods in years right?
Presidents get all the blame when things go bad and all the accolades when they are good. Yet people seem to forget thier gov. classes in high school(is it even taught anymore?) on how things really work. The president can do very little without congess. Can anyone tell me was Clinton or Bush has done without congess that has affected the economy?

You are over in the UK right? You have a lot of the same issues we have but at least your economy isn't crap right now. Mainly because I bet most UK companies don't outsource too much.

Clinton left and we had a surplus of budget money and our economy was good, Bush has destroyed it, McCain will make it way worse.

The war in Iraq is not beatable, they have been fighting over there for thousands of years. It would take us a whole generation of people occupying their land to change their ways. Our military is costing us too much and too much is being out sourced so no money comes back into our economy, plus soldiers don't get paid squat and now the Republicans want to cut their benefits.

What I find the most ironic about politics in the USA is that people follow political parties like spectator sports and no matter what a candidate stands for people are just loyal to their party. Most military people are republican, at least in my experience. They seem to be anti-democrat, but it is funny because when the Dems are in charge of military budget the military personel get better housing and benefits, but I do think that the Democrats but their pay a bit. Either way, both parties chip away at the Military.

Iraq is kinda like the Bull in the China shop, the Bull being us. Doesnt matter if you were for or against the war, we are there. Do you go in and wreck someones store and then say oh well I made a mistake and just leave? I dont think we should just pull out but there is a time a place that the Iraqs need to stand on their own. How that happens I have no idea.

Its like you almost have your store starting to get back in order, then some guys from out of town and some locals drive by a break the windows out and try to kill the store owners on there way to work. And it just goes on and on. Its like getting sprayed in the face by a Skunk and bite by a Bear in the ass at the same time. Do you hold your nose or grab your ass!

Humans are curious creatures and by nature insane. Lock us all in a room together and within hours we're dividing into groups, creating Gods and plotting on how to kill one another.

yeah but I could honestly care less about the Middle East right now. We have some pressing issues with our own country. The war will go no where, it will be our generations "Vietnam," and it will cost us a lot of money and make our economy worse. They are slashing education funds to fund this war, and for what?

There needs to be some sort of exit strategy and we need to start pulling our troops out slowly but surely. I never said just up and abandon the Middle East, but we need to get out, oh and Israel can take care of them self as well, no need to help them out anymore either.

Tlarkin-Give me actual house or senate bills- not garbage from left wing web sites. I asked my dad if any off his benefits have been cut and he said NO. I don't ever use my VA benefits so I wouldn't know.

Not all of it was left wing, but the Democrats are actually fighting to get Veterans better benefits. Again, you don't care about facts because you are in the group of people that just hear what they want to hear regardless if it is fact or fiction.

Turn on Rush or O'rielly and you will hear what you want, but it is probably not true.

While, I do not belong to either party, and am a registered Independent, I do agree mostly with the Libertarians, but we all know that they never have anyone worth while in their party.

Here go some more articles backing what I have said. I actually read news from more than one source.
