I have a legal copy of Vista Ultimate sitting on my desk right here in front of me, which I have not installed on my PC yet, mainly due to my machine is about 4yrs old right now. I will be building a new one soon for mainly Fallout 3 and Startcraft 2 when they come out.

I will be trying vista full on then. If you want to make the jump to Vista you will just have to build a better rig unfortunately, in my opinion, or turn a lot of features off in Vista which are resource hungry.

I wanna see specs on the hdd! You have cache speed on the hdd? If its low then thats gonna be a major setback. Nobody ever thinks about a hdd when you actually need a fast hdd to move alot of info. 32mb cache on my hdd and load times are super fast

I have 6gb of memory in my machine. I due a lot of Photo and Audio editing.
My OS is Windows XP Pro x64bit. I also duel-boot to windows xp pro (32), due to
the fact that my spysweeper that I run once a week won't work in x64. And really notice the differences between the 2.

I have a duel-boot system. Windows XP pro (32) and Windows XP Pro x64.
I do a a lot of Photo and Audio editing. My Main OS is is the x64. But I jumped
down into the (32bit) once a week to run my Webroot Spy Sweeper Program. They
are suppose to be working on a x64bit program now. My Memory is 6gb of
Patriot Extremes. I can really tell the difference between the 2 OS's.
