retard slow CPU RPM.

I brought new built up computer, and My CPU is Pentium Dual Core 2.4 and then CPU fan speed went 600rpm and Core temp is 55C I set bios CPU fan aggresstive but it hadnt change. so now what?

edit: That temp read while i am play gaming.

First off, be sure the speed and temp are both being read correctly. If these are the readings you get from the BIOS, or the same as what you have in the BIOS, then it should be correct... Also, be sure there's nothing that's slowing it down... No dust or anything of the sort.

Now, I'm not as familar with the newer 4-pin CPU fans many Intel's use, but if you're still running a 3-pin fan, you could probably rig it to run at only full speed. Basically you connect the red and black wires to a power connector from your PSU, then leave the yellow plugged into the motherboard (RPMs, so it thinks somethings still plugged in to that socket) I'm pretty sure that'd work, allowing the fan to go full speed.

Yeah, on my old P4 have 3 pins for CPU and it spinning more than 3,000 rpm and it loud. The new dg33tl have 4 pins and it spinning 600 RPM. This cpu fan is made for 600 to 2200 rpm. I just dont like to see 55C on both core of Pentium Dual Core in gaming. It seem a very high compare to my old pentium 4CPU with high RPM fan.

if it doesn't allow you to choose a higher rpm then perhaps there's a block in your hardware

Just plug your fan into a different fan connector on your motherboard and YES a 4 pin fan will work in a 3 pin connector

Make sure your bios is set to auto fan speed, that might be whats keeping your fan rpm low. And also, 55º load isn't bad. My CPU goes to 60º max under heavy load with a passive Scythe Ninja.

Nope this didnt change the fan speed..

There is in bios seting slow normal and aggressive. I found info over internet that CPU fan will increase to 1700 RPM(normal) or full speed 2200 RPM(aggressive) if it reach 62C.
