Default PLEASE HELP - CANT BOOT, CRITICAl ERROR! PLEASE HELP!

Hello everyone,
I am using a system I built myself, and it is really messed up right now! Whenever I try to turn it on, it just goes to the window screen, takes about 5 minutes, flashes a blue error screen and starts the proccess all over again. I looked at the error screen, and it says:

A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down.....

Then it says:

DRIVER_IRQC_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL...

Then there are some memory addressess

And there is a filename, ViamRaid.sys

I have a PT880 NEO Mobo, and I think something is wrong with the hard drive settings or something, I checked all the connections. I didnt install or change any hardware before I got this error, I just turned it on as usual, and it kept messing up.

Thanks,
Chris

My advice: Just format your HDD and re-install Windows.

It's that simple

When I try to reinstall windows and chkdsk in recovery console, I get that error! I think my hard drive might be broken!

Anyways, At the bottom of the blue error page is:

Technical Information:

Possibilties, Memory you have installed is bad, or not working with the motherbard,Motherboard not working with XP SP2,xp not compatible with hardware you have installed, bios options set wrong, virus, system overheating, driver you state is corrupt,
Remove all non essential pci cards, set bios options to default, make sure computer not overheating, put a fan directed toward pc temporarly, open case.
If you have to reinstall delete partition with fdisk and recreate one. Not just format the system.

Try to disable some things from the BIOS. Some components may be using a same IRQ, which does cause similar problems. Track down what is causing the problem, and assign it with another IRQ.

Of course, when I had those problems, my memory was faulty, but I just gave the another possibility for your problem.

While yer at it, it wouldnt help to disable the QuickBoot in BIOS to have it do a cursory examination of memory (you can also run through Memtest) ... btw with this new system yer not trying to boot up an installation of windows from a different hardware config are you?

I would attempt to get into windows through safe mode. If you are unable to do so, attempt to repair (which i beleive you said you did). If that fails, i would flash the bios, attempt a format and re-installation of windows. Again, if that fails, i think it would be narrowed down to a hardware issue. If you have another computer available to you, pull out your HDD and ram, test them in another computer. Best of luck.
