Default which one is better: 2600xt 256mb gddr4 or 3650 512mb gddr3?

hi,

sorry for a new topic but its a different subject..

which one is better: 2600xt 256mb gddr4 or 3650 512mb gddr3?

if you want to recommend other cards feel free to do so but also if you could answer my question at the same time id really appreciate it

this is for gaming on a budget btw

Dont know how well a 3650 does but it doesnt take much to beat a 2600XT, its pretty much a crap card. Think even a old 7600GT will beat it.

oh dude the 2600XT is better than a 8600GT by about 30%

The 2600 is pretty much a dog, dont know about it being 30% faster than a 8600GT. Most benchmarks even the 7600GT beat it or is on par with it. But I do agree I would not get a 8600GT or 2600XT. Check these out.

in 3DMARK06 (1280x1024x32, 4x AA, 8x AF, Default Quality) the 2600XT 256M GDDR4 gets 1235 an the 8600GT gets 954

2600xt is a lowly card. 3650 is even lower.

if you going with med-end cards.... go with 8600gts

Fetch in another $50 or so and get the 9600 GT.

OR

Fetch in another $100 and get a 8800 GT.
