I've had so many of those, happened to me like a 100 times in the past. Unfourtunatly my computer eventually broke down and now it is not working as it should be working.
I bought mine in early 2004, so I suppose it had to go anyways, but how old is yours? New computeres arent supposed to be shutting down unless you've gone pass its capeability. |

Wow many stuff can cause that...
Dying motherboard... Dying any part of hardware like Hard Disk... Even a Brontox virus... I suppose some of your hardware is dying, it will help us determine it if you tell us how old is your computer, but my computer is old like 7 months now, and 5 months ago hard disk died so... you never really know!

it did use to happen to my dad and the computer just fixed itself - i think it may have been a virus because he had to reinstall the OS because he had a major virus we could not get rid of so... i would say it is a virus.

I checked for viruses and everything was clean.. I have yet to find a trust worthy temperature program out there that seems accurate... What do you use for your temps?
