Default how configure 2 hard drives

I installed Vista on a SATA drive, and Ubuntu on a IDE drive. I can access the files off each drive from the other. Every time i want to select which drive to boot i have to go to the bios and select the drive. Is there an easier way to choose. I used to dual boot these systems on a single drive, and all i had to do was choose which os i wanted in the boot menu. Thanks for any tips.

When installing from a live cd not generally the best of ideas to see how a triple boot on two sata drives would work Grub took first place over the beta tool I'm currently testing for an XP/Vista dual boot. That set ubuntu as the default OS with the option for the Vista boot loader seen.

Once using the repair startup problems option to see the XP/Vista beta tool restored I simply pressed the F8 key at post to bring up the optional boot device menu for a one time boot of the drive you choose to find out that Grub was also installed into the mbr on the second XP sata drive.

The latest EasyBCD 1.7.2 release is another tool available for adding ubuntu as an option in the Vista boot loader found at http://neosmart.net/dl.php?id=1 The VistaBootPRO tool some might recommend is actually a rippoff of the original EasyBCD freeware tool from the information I've found out on that.

EasyBCD includes a NeoGrub form of boot loader for seeing Linux distros added to the Vista boot loader. The main documentation page can be looked over at http://neosmart.net/wiki/pages/listp...ageInHierarchy
