Default Windows XP Pro x64 question

Will the x64 Edition still support 32-bit applications like 32-bit games and Microsoft Office?

my guess that it will. because everything is 32-bit right now except for AMD 64 and intel 64 bit processors. but thats hardware, if programs werent 32-bit compatible u would have like 3% of hard drive filled up
