Default quad cores with sheared cache

just what the name says

what quad cores have sheared cache? i know the Q6600 don't (its just 2 duel cores in one)

i was looking at the Q9550 i could not seem to find out if it had shared cache

main reason i was wondering because a few people said shared cache is faster then none shared
and i saw Intel's price drops that will be coming soon and i went nuts lol

well, for 'just' 2 dual cores it still packs quite a punch

as for the topic, no Idea. tbh, i'm not even fuzzed about whats inside a cpu, only how it performs and the temps that come with it.

If it performs better it doesn't matter if it's shared or not... Just take the one that performs to your price

I think only the Phenoms are true quad core, thus share all cache. However, the intel "fake" quad cores still run circles around them.
