I have a server running MS Server 2000.
I have my XP home machines connected to this server as part of a workgroup and not a domain. The users on the XP machines need to have a username and password to have access to the server shares. I would like to have a share that is accessible to any user who does not have a password. I am not sure if this is possible. The reason for this? I have an XP PC which has no keyboard attached, just a touchscreen. When the PC is booted, I would like it to simply launch some software with out having to log in and enter a password. The software needs access to a network share. Thanks for any info - even a yes/no answer! |
