I bought some memorex rewriteable dvd+r dvd's to burn movies (not illegal) to them and to rewrite over top. I am using convertxtodvd to do this. So the first burn on each dvd goes good. Then I put the disk back in and clear it through windows explorer. Then for some reason my pc or dvd player doesnt even recognize the dvd at all anymore. Something im doing wrong or are they defective?

So these are DVD+RW's? Also what happens exactly when you try to read them? It doesn't detect anything at ALL?

Yeah they are DVD+RW's srry. So I first burn them fine and they read on my pc and dvd player. Then when im finished I put them in my pc and go to "my computer" and click the disk and click "clear" at the top of windows explorer in vista. It clears fine with no errors. But, when I put the disk back in my pc doesnt even detect a dvd at all.

My drive is capable of burning them but why are they not rewriteable?
