Default Help with pc

Actually my friend doesn't know what is going on with his computer. First his motherboard was overheating and went bad so he bought a new motherboard, and his CPU went dead so he got a new CPU. He plugged everything in turned it on and he gets a blue screen with errors with the pc restarts. He doesn't know what the problem is with the PC. Would anyone know what could the problem be.

Did he reinstall the OS or just throw in the old HD with the old OS? You should do a fresh install if changing out the mobo...
