Default Overclocking a Q9450 on a 790i board?

hi there. i can overclock my Q9450 to any under 3.0 GHz. (like 2.95 at the most) and i believe this has to do with how much voltages the processor is getting. so my question is, what is a good amount of voltage to overclock to around 3.4 GHz. please be specific to which voltages i should increase: cpu core and/or cpu fsb. i don't know if this is enough information for you guys but thank you in advance.

You can just put it up one notch, then try to push it some more, then if it doesn't POST just up it a notch again, then untill it doesn't post again you then up it a notch again.

You keep doing that untill you hit 3.4Ghz
