Unhappy Unable to access NTFS drives through Ubuntu?

I use XP and Ubuntu 8.04.
I got 7 drives, 6 are NTFS and 1 Ext3,

Iam unable to access my 6 drives of NTFS.
When i double-click any NTFS drive im getting this error -

'CANNOT MOUNT VOLUME'
'YOU ARE NOT PRIVILAGED TO MOUNT THE VOLUME "DRIVE NAME"'.

iam single user in ubuntu and XP.

How to access my other drives?
Please help!
